We All Thank you!

 Dear Kathleen,

On behalf of the entire Roman family, I want to thank The Elms and acknowledge how incredibly wonderful you all were to our mom/grandmother/great-grandmother, Jeanette Roman. (photo above) We were so blessed to find The Elms, and mom was the one who decided it would be the right place for her. She was absolutely right-it could have not been more perfect! The Elms is small enough to feel like home, like "family". Mom, a very social person, mad friends quickly, found interesting people to converse with during dinner, which she loved, and people to talk to when she took walks throughout the building. When she visited our house, I would ask her if she wanted to stay the night, and she always chose to "go home!" I don't think she wanted to miss anything! You, Kathleen, are truly amazing with The Elms residents. Mom loved that the staff knew her by name, and he raved about how the dining staff always knew just what she liked or wanted. She didn't even have to ask. Staff members checked with her often to invite her to join activities, and she never liked missing Bingo. Whenever she needed assistance, someone was there for her almost immediately. Knowing mom lived at The Elms meant we never had to worry about her. She was able, after the loss of her home in Paradise , to make new friends and regain much of her independence at The Elms.
