A Family Gives Thanks

Thank you Scott,
I cannot express how caring & kind everyone has been to Chuck. It was the same when my mother was there. Even though the roughest times, all his needs were met and dignity given.
Thanks, again, for all you do. I have nothing but the highest regards for the San Carlos Elms and The Grove and would (have) recommend them to anyone. Everyone who visited commented on how lovely it was and how caring and attentive the entire staff was.
Regards,
Carolyn

Thanks from a Family

To the Wonderful Staff at The Elms,
Words are not sufficient to express our gratitude for the manner in which each of you cared for our parents while there. Your understanding, kindness and efforts you made to welcome them at a difficult time in their lives is remarkable. We thank you with all our hearts.
From, A Grateful Family

San Carlos Elm Memory Program Thank You!

Dear Sirs,

My mother, Carol Horne (picture shown above), was a Resident at The San Carlos Elms in The Grove (Memory Care Program) for a little over two years. I have been very happy with the care that they provided there. They have art activities, bingo, motor functions activities and music. They take the Residents out twice a week for a bus ride. They have farm animals that they get to see and hold every two months. They also involve the local high school students to work with the elderly. They read to them and help them with puzzles and play music for them. My granddaughter and grandson were involved with the care of their great grandmother. The staff was excellent!! They were very caring and they did a great job at keeping them clean and well fed!! My mother gained 50 pounds since she was there!! Sometimes the Residents are very difficult to work with and the staff was very patient and kind!! sometimes I would go to visit my mother and I would see one of the staff just sitting with a Resident and holding their hand. They take very good care with the seniors with memory loss.

Sincerely,
Nancy Griffin

One Family's Opinion The Elms Memory Care is The Best

Since November 2013 my mother has resided at The Grove which is a section of the San Carlos Elms memory for impaired folks. It is a wonderful place and both mom & I could not be happier. She is so well taken care of and given so much love by the caregivers. She is constantly stimulated and never bored due to all the activities she is offered and loves to participate in them. The caregivers always keep me abreast on how she is doing and whether she needs anything. Mom has not had one sick day since she arrived at The Grove and I know it is because she is kept clean and never neglected in any way. If you want to put your loved on in a place that is top-notch then The Elms in my opinion is the best.

Mother's Thriving- Thanks

My mother was "lost" after the death of my father. For three years she took care of herself but as time passed it became evident that she needed more assistance. We did a lot of research regarding assisted living facilities and when we visited The Elms we knew this was the place for her. We are so very thankful that she was able to move in there. She is very happy at The Elms. She feels safe and well cared for and her family has peace of mind. We can't thank The Elms enough for their kindness and professionalism. My mother is thriving because of them.
Thank you on behalf of the Aspoy/Schiavenza family

A Residents New Title for The Elms Executive Director

Dear Executive Director Evans,

This title is too long. Hereafter we will refer to you as "Captain Evans". Elise and I did a lot of traveling before moving into the Elms and we think of it as a cruise ship with all the amenities for living provided.

Besides the meals which the Elm's prides itself on like the cruise ships, housekeeping, and other services are provided. Shore excursions and visits to points of interest are done in a similar manner. Even a "Gentleman Host" to dance with and otherwise entertain elderly ladies is possibly provided.

Therefore it is reasonable to address the leader of the Elm's as Captain of the good ship Elm's on a cruise from here to eternity.

These are the sincere observations of an experienced cruise ship traveler.

                        Sincerely,
                        Robert J. Hoffman
